WHAT’S ON ACROSS BARNSLEY: Here’s all you need to know about this years Mapplewell Beer Festival!

The 25th of November will see Mapplewell’s Christmas lights get switched on for 2022, and what better way to celebrate than to visit the villages very own beer festival which is taking place across the same weekend.



Brought to you by a host of dedicated volunteers, the free-to-enter village hall festival will be home to a variety of beverages, live music, whilst all raising funds for important causes across the area.



Here’s all you need to know about who’s on, when and where…


BEER FESTIVAL:


Friday 4pm until 10pm -

North Gawber Male Voice Choir in the Main Hall and The Fabulous Izzy Watson in the Small Hall. The England Match will also be shown on a large Screen ⚽️⚽️⚽️


Saturday 12 noon until 10pm -

The delightful Eletto will start things off from lunchtime, followed by Emily Snowden and the the man himself Tom Masters will be on stage in the main Hall. From 7.30pm, the amazing The Cellar Thieves will be playing two sets to round up the day.


Sunday 12noon until 5pm -

To complete the weekend, Neil Diamondo will be playing from 2pm in the main hall.


Note: The event is free to event, with tokens available to grab your beers.


CHRISTMAS LIGHTS:


Friday 25th November -

Christmas Tree Light Switch on will be, 5pm at The Old Police station then at The Wentworth Arms at 5.30pm followed by The Talbot, then finally at The Village Hall.


The Children's choir will be from 6pm and at 6.20pm the Christmas Tree lights will be turned on followed by none other than Father Christmas at around 6.25pm!
