Childrens play cafe “Tots Explore” are hosting three events this autumn! From fashions shows, to getting you in the Christmas spirit, they’ve got you covered between now and the end of November.
We just LOVE local businesses and organisations who open their doors to enable events, get togethers and great reasons to socialise with the local community - and that’s exactly what the owners of Tots Explore in Shafton are doing this month!
Based on High Street, the under 5’s play cafe are hosting three unique events all before Christmas, which includes a fashion show, a first aid support class and an adult willow weaving workshop.
Fashion Show
If you’re on the look out for something to wear for the Christmas party, or on the hunt for that perfect festive gift, then this could be well up your street! Their first event is a collaboration between themselves and ‘Walk in Wardrobe’ in Cudworth. They’ll be coming together on Friday the 11th of November to bring you all the latest fashion trends via their catwalk, plus providing you with a pie and pea supper accompanied by a cheeky glass of fuzz upon your arrival to the event.

Time: 7pm
First Aid Class
Delivered by Lou Botham training, this baby and child first aid class will give you essential life saving skills in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. Don’t worry about having to arrange childcare for the event, as the play cafe will be open for all children to have fun whilst you stock up on your life saving knowledge! The class is taking place on the 8th of November.

Time: 12:15pm - 2pm
Willow Weaving Workshop
The final event in the Tots Explore trilogy is an opportunity to build some festive decorations with their adult willow weaving workshop on the 25th of November. Christine from the Art Room will be there every step of the way to ensure that you come away from the session with a wonderful wall decoration. A perfect event to get together with friends (or to meet some new ones) and have a laugh whilst getting creative!

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
So there we are, another great local business adjusting their setting to support the wider community! Over the course of a month, you could have manufactured some Christmas decorations, saved a life, all whilst wearing the latest fashion trends - and it’s all thanks to Tots Explore!
