A local beer festival that hopes to raise funds for both Barnsley Hospice and the Ukrainian war effort is taking place this November at The Miners Welfare in Worsbrough.
The idea to hold the festival originated from Stainborough Rotary, who are well known in the area for their service and charity work helping those most in need. With support from the Worsbrough Sports and Development Association, attendees will have the chance to sample beers from a variety of breweries who have been smashing it on the drinks scene for years.
The festival will take place over two days, starting on Friday the 18th of November (5pm-11pm) and running until Saturday evening (Midday-11pm)
To grab your tickets, simply pay on the door on the day of the festival. Tickets are £10, which includes four beer tokens and a souvenir glass to commemorate the event.
Funds will go towards the amazing work that Barnsley Hospice carries out across our local community. The charity, which turned 27 years old this year, provides specialist palliative care and support for those in our town living with life-limiting illnesses. The money acquired from the event will also go towards the Ukrainian effort against the Russian invasion.
